Thunder trotted over to the band and whinnied. The other stallions looked at him and the leader came over and circled him. Thunder snorted and pawed the ground.

Stand snorted and shook his mane. Rain stood beside him and he rest his chin over her back.

[Dahlia]

Meca nosed the herd into a run again,letting them see the other horses territory,letting them see who's was who's. He almost ran into a herd in the grove.

Stand lifted his head, and snorted when he saw the stallion. He reared, and pawed the air, warning the horse.

[Dahlia]

Meca snorted,as if to say,"Oh come on,ease up. New herd,cant you tell?"

Stand neighed as if to say, "Learn fast, colt."

[Dahlia]

Meca reared,angered by the stallion."Call me that one more time."He snorted.

[amelias-hart]

Stand snorted, "Don't come here again."

Thunder was excepted into the band of stallions and he enjoyed the company.

Stand didn't move, Rain slipped away from her mate and to the other mares.

[Dahlia]

Meca snorted,"We need to work together,or everyone will be lost."

[amelias-hart]

Stand reared, and galloped to the edge of his land. He snorted, "Stay away from my herd, colt. This is my land."

[Dahlia]

Meca reared,fury in his eyes.

[amelias-hart]

Stand snorted, standing his ground.

[Dahlia]

"Im not a colt,and you know it!!"He snorted at him.

[amelias-hart]

Stand replied, "If you weren't, then you'd know not to come here."

[Dahlia]

"No,old horse,then if Im young,it would be easy to fight,for I would have more energy than you."Meca snorted,and stamped his foot.

Stand snorted, "You'll never be a stallion if you result to fighting, colt."

ooc: In light of vintage RP week here is a summary for old and (hopefully) new characters: Phantom's herd has survived the storm and avoided the helicopter. Now they are near Stand's heard. Stand has had a face off with Thunder who recently joined the bacholer herd of stallions. Mecca was captured by the humans who attempted to tame him. They were unsuccessful and he, along with most of the army horses escaped back to their territory. Mecca's new herd ran into stand who warned the new lead stallion to never come back.

Phantom shivered as a fly landed on his withers. He looked around and in the distance could make out a herd of five or six horses. The loners he though. Calmly he began moving his herd in the direction of Stand's territory. The stallion herd was a small threat, but every now and then an accident happened. Most of the mares in his herd had small foals and he didn't want to lose them.

Stand flicked his tail to snap a fly, then neighed, "I'll give you this warning, and this alone. Leave my territory now."

Rain trotted back towards her mate, patiently waiting to administer calm words in assistance.

Phantom's herd moved off until the bachelor group was out of sight. Phantom looked around and flarred his nostrils as he tried to catch a sent. For all of his experience, he wasn't sure if he was in Stand's territory of not.

The herd of bachelors trotted together as a group until they came to where Phantom's herd use to be. It was clear their intentions, to strike while the mares had foals to protect and would be more likely to join a new herd to prevent harm coming to their foals. Quickly the group moved off.
