Cain laughed, and but then looked at the stars. He worried about something else now too. Someone knew him, better than he knew himself, as he knew this someone better than that person knew themself.

Okie jumped from his sleep. He had the feeling Cain was thinking about him. He thought how they had worked together, for those cruel long years. He fell back to sleep.

-Next Day-

Rimmon rolled over and fell from the tree.She screamed as she fell.

Meca laughed,"Nice Rimmon!!"Then leapt from the tree and landed lightly on the ground in front of her,in a crouch.

Nileve jumped from her half sleep. She remembered that one of Okie's friends had joined them in the night, and she stood up and stretched. She sat back down, and dozed off for awhile.

Lily woke up, and got to work on breakfast.

Okie almost fell from the tree where he had fallen asleep when he heard Rimmon scream. He grabbed hold of a branch just in time, and landed lightly on the ground.

Cain heard Kina sturr. It had been a soundless night, and he took a sip of a drink called liviar, and he felt like he had a day and night's rest.

"Ow..."Rimmon got up,rubbing her backside.

Meca grinned at Nileve and Lily and bowed deeply.

Rasra had sat up for a few hours,then fallen into a restless sleep.

Waking at the sound of Lily's small fire, Nileve smiled, and bowed to Meca. She started packing. They would be off soon.

Arros raced down the path. The town was burning, and the flames leapt from house to house. He reached the stables, with the pack he had thrown together, and saddled his horse in a rush. He kicked the bay stallion into a gallop, down the road. He heard the scream of dieing people behind him, his family, friends... Who ever had started the fire would pay for it.

Okie smiled,"Finally, the morning has come, and I can see you in the light Meca. I truthfully thought it was dream, but now I know my eyes do not decieve me!"

Okie smiled,"Well, you could have come at a better time, but I am glad to see you either way. We are traveling, and will be back on the road hopefully by noon. We're heading north, if you want to join us."

Lily handed them both a plate, and then one to Nileve and Okie, before serving her own.
