Jessica looked at Bridget, "Where do you want to look first?" Bridget shrugged, "Let's check the edge of the forest." Jessica nodded.

Andy listened for hoof beats, but the only thing he heard was silence. It was maddeningly silent.

Mark listened hard, but all he could hear was the crunch of snow and his heatbeat. He tried harder.

Andy squinted, it was hard to see through the snow. He thought he heard someone behind him, but he couldn't see anyone.

Mark thought he saw someone's outline. He shouted, "Hullo?!"

Andy whirled around, "Hello?" He hated snow, it made him fell like he was going insane.

Mark sighed, "Andy! It's Mark and Luke."

Andy sighed in relief, "What are you guys out here for?"

Mark said, "We came to help you look."

Anili growled, she was having no luck.

Andy nodded, "Great." He squinted through the snow and saw something move, "Did you see that?"

Luke said, "I think so."

Andy heard hoof beats and smiled, finally a horse. He walked toward the sound and saw through the snow, Teddy, one of the older horses.

Jessica scanned the horizon, "I don't see anything."

Mark said, "I see him. You can probably tell who that is better than I can though."

Andy nodded, "It's Teddy. He shouldn't have been out in the first place. I must have forgotten to bring him in." He took a few steps toward the little bay pony and clipped the lead on.

Mark said, "I'll take him back. You two keep looking. I'd look in shelter. With all this snow, they're bound to get under the trees or what not." He set a hand on Teddy's lead.

Andy let him take Teddy's lead, "Could you check on the sick horses too?"

Bridget pointed, "I see Willy!" Jessica sighed in relief, "Poor Willy!" She clipped a lead to his halter.

Mark nodded, "I will." He started to lead the horse back to the barn.

Andy said, "Thanks." He waited until Mark had left and said, "Well, the forest is that way . . . "

Luke nodded, "Alright, let's go."

Mark got back to the bar quickly, and put Teddy back in his stall. He made sure that the horse was alright, and headed off to check on the sick horses.

Andy walked toward the woods and hoped that they would find the rest of the horses.

Bridget and Jessica led Willy back to the barn.

Anili coasted the edge of the woods.

Luke kept up well with Andy.

Jessica found an extra blanket for Willy who was shivering from the cold.

The woods were starting to come into veiw, along with the mountains. Andy scanned the wood's edge and then glanced up at the hill side. He blinked and then pointed, "Luke do you see a horse up there?"

Luke looked up, "It's hard to tell. I think I did, but it looked like a ghost of the snow."

Andy shivered as a gust of wind spun the snow around like a tornado. "Do you see anything?"

Marie spotted Mark, and rushed up, "Have you seen Ghost?" Mark said, "No..." Marie panicked, "Oh dear! I let them out this morning, and now they're gone. Well, Yucan is in his stall...but I can't find Ghost." Mark sighed.

Luke said, "I think I see something."

Andy said, "I think I see it too." He thought back to what Luke had said, like a ghost of the snow.
