Malruse didnt hear it at first,but one look back at Bue told him all. The horse's ears were pricked and he looked back quickly,then his ears flattened,and Malruse heard it to. Hooves on stone,and yelling. "Hurry!" whispered towards Axia,Bue and Malruse were right on their tail.

ooc: I was so tempted to put her next comment in elvish or something

Axia heard it too, but the splash of water sped up the bay. Golden Lust flew forward with unpreshed speed. The cool of the shadows grew as she heard the water pass, and the breeze in the trees sounded.

[Dahlia]

Malruse ushered the stallion on. Bue didnt really like water,but he went through it for Malruse,then he settled into a rocking canter,that ate up the ground with his long strides.

The hidden path disappeared into the woods, and Axia quickly turned Lust right, and followed the river over to their right. She glanced back, and saw the riders stumble at the bank. But they turned back. Her father was at the front.

[Dahlia]

Malruse sat up in the saddle as they cantered over the ground,Bue's tail out like a starry night banner. The horse was excited now,he knew the chase was over,and he would stay free as the wind under Malruse's hand. Malruse grinned at Axia.

Axia said,"The chase will worsen soon. I've gone, and I'm more dear than a horse to him. We have to be out of here. I don't know the land here any more, will you guide?"

[Dahlia]

"We know the land." He patted the horse's neck,and took the lead.

Axia nodded, and let Malruse pass her. She let Lust fall into Bue's pace.

[Dahlia]

Malruse felt Bue speed up as they neared a grassy plain. It was open,but it was free of any holes,and trees surrounded it on all sides.

Axia felt a great weight lift off her as they crossed the plains. She knew the woods belonged to her father, for the most part, so she was past her family's land.

[Dahlia]

Malruse grinned as they entered it,and called back."Ill beat you to the end!!!"And Bue surged forward. The energy in the young stallions body fueling him faster and faster. He went from the gently rocking canter,to a ground eating,smooth paced,gallop. Flying across the ground,insects burst forth from the grass beneath them,like water does from a fast moving wheel.

Axia grinned,"Oh, you're on!" Lust surged forward as Axia twisted into side-saddle. She caught up with Malruse, let Lust fall into a smooth gallop.

[Dahlia]

Malruse let Bue slow to match Lust's even pace,and they rode side by side. He grinned over at her.

[amelias-hart]

Axia grinned at Malruse. Lust had less weight to carry, so his energy returned swiftly. The nimble horse pushed forward like he had been held back.

[Dahlia]

Malruser let the younger horse go,and the sped away. Bue reached the edge of the field in no time,and kept going. Malruse had to work to stop him,and then turned him around.

Lust easily kept up with the older horse, but slowed as he got closer. Axia slowed the horse, and let him trot.

[Dahlia]

Malruse turned back and came to Axia.

[amelias-hart]

Axia teased,"Where now, Master Guide?"

[Dahlia]

"Onward!"He exaggerated,and grinned over at Axia.

Axia rolled her eyes,"Haha, which cardnal direction?"

[Dahlia]

"North.''He grinned.

[amelias-hart]

Axia nodded,"Alright, then lets go!" Axia swung over onto Lust back out of her side saddle position. The young horse reared in excitement.

[Dahlia]

Malruse pulled Bue to a stop,as they had almost collided with two people who were randomly walking.

[amelias-hart]

Axia pulled Lust to a halt next to Malruse. She felt something akward on her back, and then said,"Oh, yeah! The belt!" She turned around, and started to pull her belt the right way around so the buckle was back on the front.

[Dahlia]

"You were the ones walking randomly in the middle of the forest."Malruse muttered.
