Bill nodded, "She can stay with me until this gets sorted out, but we need to start sorting it out. Who's her next closest relative?"

Marie said, "Her great aunt Joan. She's in a nursing home."

Bill said, "That won't work. Anyone else? Close family freinds?"

Bridget finished her ride on Albatross and walked back up to the barn.

Andy collasped on a chair in the lounge. He knew he go straighten everything out with Bill, but he couldn't think straight. The past week had been crazy, between Anili and his father and the horses and now this, he was so stressed out he for once forgot about the horses. He closed his eyes just wanting to forget about everything. A minute later he was asleep.

Marie replied, "The family's closest friends were the ranch hands. But they all died in the fire. Shino's family was the last hope Anili had."

Bill sighed, "Ok, well...." Bill was out of ideas, he had never had this prblem before.

Marie said, "The only way she could stay here is if someone in the barn adopted her."

Bill nodded, "I don't think she'll be so keen on that idea. But you're right it's the only way she could stay here."

Maire nodded, "Yes, but she wouldn't want to leave here either."

Bill nodded, "True. I'll let you tell her about that idea. I have a feeling she'll be more rational if you talk with her."

Maire teased, "Bill, I'm only a vet."

Bill smiled, "Well I'm only a trainer."

Marie laughed, and replied, "I tell her after I'm done with Yucan and Ghost."

Bill smiled, "Sounds good." He walked back to his office.

Marie turned back to grooming Yucan.

Bill walked into the lounge to grab a paper he had left there. He looked over and noticed Andy, passed out in a chair. He smiled, finally, he thought and made a mental note to ask Nami or Mark to feed later.

Bridget pulled a book from her bag and sat down on a tack trunk in the isle to read.

Jessica tightened Jackson's girth and patted the bay horse's neck.

Marie finished taking care of the two horses, and headed for the sick horses' stalls.

Bill walked over to his office and put the paper on his desk before going to look for Mark.

Mark had finally gotten over his stiffness as he finished with Shadow. He patted the stallion.

Bill walked over to Shadow's stall and said to Mark, "Can you do me a huge favor and feed the horses their dinner hay?"

Mark's eyes bugged a little, "Is it already that later?"

Bill shook his head, "No, but I wanted to ask you before I forgot."

Mark rubbed the back of his neck, "Oh...alright."

Bill said, "Thank. Everything you need to know is written on the white board in the feed room. There should still be enough hay in there from yesterday for tonight."

Mark nodded, "Alright."

"Great! Thanks again." Bill walked to the back barn in search of Nami.

Bridget looked at her watch, she packed up her things and headed for the parking lot, her mom would be there any minute.
