Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
X gripped the side of the boat as a wave swayed it. He hadn't been on the ocean before, and it had been nice for a few minutes. Then he started tottering, and sea sickness kicked in. He looked back on the deck. Tusk had his feet up, a bottle of whiskey to his lips. X had no idea how the man could drink the stuff so fast after he had practically shoved X onto the ship. It had only been a little while since the fire. X's arm still burned like crazy, but now it was covered by a gloved, and a long sleeved shirt.

The Unicorn and rider turned as one, connected mentally, and at the moment,it seemed as if they were connected physically too. Malruse knew how to ride, and knowing exactly what the horse was going to do,knowing every ounce of blood that pumped through the unicorn's body helped as well.

Tusk stood up, and walked over to X. He patted the kid on his back, and the boy looked up. Tusk said, "Things will get a lot better once we dock." X looked away from him.
Sky shifted, and burst out of the second dimension. Helix swung onto the bird's back before she could take off, and the phoenix rushed after the leaders.

ooc: i didnt know what else to use to excuse why luna wasnt doing anything..
Luna stood quietly for a moment, ragaining control of her vision and mind. What happened? All she remembered was making a gust of wind then everything went black. She was standing alone in the exact spot where it all happened. Where had everyone gone?

Sky swooped at the blank girl. The bird's flight was silent, but swift. She knew as she grew closer, she'd be easier to hear. But she was in the middle of a dive, with Helix riding her. The only way to break it was an attack, or to crash. She hoped she could avoid that.

Luna felt the change in the air but was too confused to understand what it meant. Luna knew she was being stupid- that she should move- but she didnt. Instead she looked up at what ws headed towards her.

ooc: Np, and glad to see you back
Sky's opened her wings, each lighting up with pure light. It was blinding. It was Helix. Helix broke the dive. She forced the phoenix to slow. Helix covered her eyes behind the bird's head, trying to see the girl underneath the piercing light. Sky hovered above the Dark Leader, her wings creating small gusts. Her wing's light was more of the trouble.

Luna groaned in pain from the light and hid her eyes under her arms. "Hey there, Sunshine. Mind turning off the bright light?" Luna shouted so she could be heard. If the light shined on her much longer she would just travel through wind to get out of it but she was unsure if it would be smart to do that at this moment.

Malruse raised his hands high above his head, feeling the dark unicorn rear beneath him, his black eyes saw nothing yet everything as he brought the house under a shadow shield hiding it from prying human eyes. He would let none escape his wrath, unless of course, they could break his shield. He felt his magic surge through his body coursing with every breath.

Sky roared, "Would you like a thorny coating instead?" Her wings went dull green. Then vibrant lively green. Forest. Prickly vines shot down met by just as barbed vines from the ground. They mingled and danced, creating a weaving net.

Luna did not like being threatened. Kepping her arms raised, she made a huge gust of dirt filled wind and threw it at the stranger. Hoping that the dirt would mask their vision, her body vanished into the air, moving behind a tree. She had to hide. She didnt have much enegery to fight. What had happened to her?

ooc: Sky isn't in her light form anymore. She changed to forest. Reread my last post please
Helix reached for her sword. The cold metal felt good in her palm. It felt right. Yet...it felt wrong.

OOC: I'll fix my last post.
Luna sat down behind the tree. She was screwed and she knew it. Sighing, she waited with her head on her knees.

Helix brushed herself against Sky's ice tail as she skidded down the phoenix's empty trap. Sky released the vines. The bird looked up at the shadow sealing the place. Her wings erupted with light again, streaming to destroy the barrier. Helix raced for the Leader, her sword drawn and ready. She didn't know what kind of chance she was, but she had to do something. She swung her blade without revealing herself around the truck of the tree. She wondered if she would hit bark.

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
Hearing Helix's footsteps she began to panic and ran. She tried her best to stay in her wind form but something had happened to make her even too weak for that at the moment. She kept running and screamed a distress call through the wind, hoping it would realse Malruse. There was no saying rather it would or not. She could only hope. She tried to steady her breathing as she ran but it wa difficult.

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
Helix ripped her blade from the tree. She swung it around, ice erupting from its sides. It probably wouldn't reach the girl, but it gave Helix a boost. She raced down the ice patch, letting the slick surface give her speed. Once she left it, the ice melted. She was getting too hot.
Helix was feet away from the leader. The ice patches ran out. She had enough speed now. She raced ahead, twisting to get in front of her opponent. She raised her blade up. If the Leader didn't turn, she'd run straight on to the blade's point.

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
Luna screamed and fell on her butt, not thinking to turn. Luna pushed herself to slide under Helix's legs and not touch the point of the blade. Quickly getting back on her feet she called back to Helix as she ran " You know, fighting me while I'm not able to do anything but run isn't really a fair battle!" Luna gasped for breathe between words and hoped Malruse would show.

Helix raced after the girl, blade ready by her side. She called in return, "I don't think you've earned a fair fight."

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
A sort of sigh came from Malruse,"Do I have to do everything by myself?!" He muttered, and turned on a dime, he jumped off of Shade's back, and leapt forward, as Shade leapt towards the Phoenix, renewing the shield as they went. Malruse went towards Luna, racing along, his form a mere shadow as he jumped from tree to tree, landing behind near the two with silence.

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
Luna stopped in her tracks, putting faith into Malruse, and turned around. "Rather I have earned it isn't the point. Dont you have pride? Want to go home and brag about how you killed the wind leader -while- she was unable to fight? You're pathetic."

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
Sky's wings raged with light. She hovered, waiting for the dark unicorn.
Helix stopped when she saw the man. She stood her ground. She put her sword in front of her, ready for battle. There was only one good thing about this position. The shadow barrier blocked out the sun. It was cool. She could use her magic.
Snow and ice danced around her sword. Helix gripped it tight. She was wondering how this would play out. Helix said calmly to the Wind Leader, "Why don't you fight yourself then, cowardly snake?" She gestured to Malruse, then locked on Luna. She said, "Or must he guard your life? Some leader you are."

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
"You don't know your powers yet, obviously, we must train you. I'll take you into town later, and you can pick some humans to practice on. Or the dungeons, we always have a large supply." He spoke into Luna's mind, creating a shadow lock to protect his mind from any unwanted visitors. He was in a crouch when he landed, but now he stood up, a smirk on his face, his hair wild, yet still having that unruly, slightly mused, styled look that he didn't even work for.

Helix didn't budge. She held firm. She waited for a move. Any move. It was better than waiting.

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
Luna normally would smile at the sight of Malruse, but this time she couldn't. She was weak. She couldn't be anything but weak in his eyes and she knew this. She nodded at his scilent words "Gonna take me out of here or fight the 'big, bad one?'"

Re: Elementary Elements (PG-13)
Sky's wings beat. Light pierced through here and there. Sunlight. They weren't big, but it was sunlight. No one had attacked. No one had stopped her. Sky's kept it up.
